Born from the Italian genius of Giovanni il Calabrese in the 15th century, the mechanical loom revolutionized the whole of Europe only 400 years later, when Joseph-Marie Jacquard succeeded in imposing it in the world of weaving. An extraordinary instrument that underwent numerous refinements, reaching the present day conceptually intact, but more and more precise and performing.
