The first clash between the Maritime Republics of Venice and Pisa was in 1099 in Rhodes, triggered by competition for participation in the First Crusade. Every year we commemorate the Maritime Republics with a rowing competition. The material, shaped in absence of air and finally painted, is powder of Carrara marble, completely hand made in Italy.
